There are several ways to download your order:

  • Once you place your order, you will see a page with “order details.” Your download links will be on that page.
  • You will receive an email of your order; download links will be in the email.
  • You can log into your account on the site and find all your download links there.

Anything you want! Traditionally, digital scrapbook paper was created to be used for digital scrapbooking, but these days you can do so much with it!  Each “digital paper” – whether a horizontal junk journal page or vertical “paper” – is a .jpg file that is ready to print (and then use in any kind of project), or you can open them in your favorite graphics program and “cut” pieces to use in projects.

This is a good question – computers & monitors & printers have enough differences between them that what you see on your end, and what will print out for you, might not be the same as what I see & what I get when I print. I plan to eventually offer a free download that you can print to test the colors, but until that’s available, feel free to contact me & request a color sample file of the colors you need (it will be a .jpg you can print of little squares of color).

I started off selling on Etsy, in 2011, and a lot of my digital paper product images included the extra wording to let people know that they could request the item in other sizes (there was no other way to offer the different sizes at the time). I’m a one-woman show, so I just don’t have time to go back and redo all the images, lol! So what you’re seeing is just the original product images from Etsy. πŸ™‚

Digital items are digital only – they are NOT shipped to you. You download them once your order completes, and then you either use them on various devices (like digital planner items) or print them out at home (like digital art prints & digital papers). Log into your account (created when you ordered) and you will see an area where your downloads are.

I can’t offer refunds for digital items, but please contact me at moonsteamdesignstudio(at)gmail(dot)com, and I will send the files to you another way.

Zip files are several files “compressed,” or “zipped,” into one file. To use the files, you need to “uncompress” or “unzip” or “expand” the .zip file. To do this, use one of the following methods:

  • If you are on a PC: double-click the .zip file, and when you see the contents, drag each item onto your desktop (or into another folder). This will automatically uncompress each file.
  • PC method 2: Right-click the .zip file and choose “Extract.”
  • If you are on a Mac: Double-click the .zip file, and it will automatically uncompress.

Each digital paper is a .jpg file, so you can print them exactly how you’d print any other photo. I recommend first printing on the “draft” setting if you can, just to test your printer. You can print onto regular printer paper or onto photo paper or sticker paper or cardstock paper…whatever your project calls for.

The most common reason why you can’t print the .jpg files is because you haven’t fully extracted them yet – remember, the files come “zipped” (as a .zip file, which holds many .jpg files inside it), and they have to be “unzipped” or “extracted” before you can use them. If you are on a PC, if you double-click the .zip file, you can see the contents of it…if you try to print from there, it won’t work, because the files are not yet actually extracted. πŸ™‚ Just drag each .jpg file to a new folder, or right-click the .zip file and choose “extract.” Try doing that & then printing, and it should work fine. But if it doesn’t, please contact me, and I’ll help you get your pages printed. πŸ™‚

Yes, printing full-color sheets used to be an issue (people sometimes take their files to places like Staples to have them print pages out more economically), but these days we have the wonder that is Instant Ink! πŸ™‚ It’s a program by HP that delivers ink to you BEFORE you run out…so you can print however much you want and never run out of ink. It’s very affordable (much more affordable than buying ink cartridges the old way)! I’m a huge fan of Instant Ink & it makes paper crafting SO much easier & more fun. See this post for details about Instant Ink.

As often as you want! πŸ™‚
